To any and all who have experance with this board please feel free to give your openion. We have a 32 channel Crest but we need atleast 40 channels, and somthing with a very small footprint. The DM2000 seems to fit the mold if it is capable of professional quality sound... Your thoughts please...

title says it all...the pro tools book says to nudge using +/- on the keypad part of the keyboard. a laptop dosen't have one, and that's what i'm using. MY +/- buttons do nothing.

Is it actually possible to remove fretboard squeaks from an acoustic guitar track after it's been recorded? If so, what kind of technique is employed? Thanks.

With the advent of software compressors, is it still wise to consider using analog compressors? I own a dbx DDP and use it as a analog compressor (going through the AD/DA converters). I have WAVES' Renaissance Compressor and really love it too. My question is, would it be worth purchasing another good compressor reguardless of its circuitry?

Over the past year I have been collecting recording gear from all over and, just about to start recording my 5 piece band DIY. The bass player in the band is not one that likes to part with any money nor does he have that much, so I have been buying pretty much every piece of equipment we need, just so if things fall apart I can walk out the door with it.

I would like to know how I should work an Apogee Mini-Me into my current set up. I'm currently running an 896 via fire wire into a dual gig G4. I'm running DP3.11, which I'm happy with. Right now my set up is that simple. I'm not doing anything with midi or any third party plugs-ins.
