so dig this. i've got my small studio in my house. i'm starting to record people and having a great time. my first band that i record is this high school rock band.

i`ve been having problems with 2 of the BF plugins...they appear with image distorted...i`m working with Pro Tools 6.1, WinXP...the plugins are LA-3A and SamsAmp...any idea? :confused:

Has anyone tried to put your DAW (PC) in a homemade refrigerator? I was thinking about buying a cheap 12/120v drink cooler, disassembling the "innards" and making a sealed pc cabinet. The entire project will cost less than $25, and I should have negligible amounts of noise. Will this work, :td:

I hope this is the correct forum. I am looking for a 'good' pair of monitors for my home studio. I am currently looking at the Mackie HR624 and Event 20/20bas monitors. I have raised my budget to consider these choices. I can get a pair of Mackies for $839.90USD new and the Events for around $899USD new.

Since we're on the subject of front-end stuff, I'm curious to find out if this unit is worth taking a look at. This would be used as a mic preamp on a temporary basis unless it really matches up to some of the better products on the market. Or would it be better to hold out & save a few bucks and get that "really nice" pre everyone raves about?

Anybody had any experience with them or their 0 300 followup model? How do they compare with the likes of Dynaudio, Genelec etc?

i was wondering how many people of you have this situation:
having a fulltime job which doesn't give any satisfaction, saved in many years equipment for over 10000 euro but still no work in the audio industrie at least not enough for living but can deliver good kwalitie in sound
