What sounds better:"The same sample of,lets say,
bass guitar played from EmuE4Platinum or played from Halion or GigaStudio on computer with Motu2408?
I know that there is differences between Emus and Akais samplers in alogorithm,but I wonder are the software samplers enough good in producing sound as they are hardware samplers.

in these small steps. what advice would you give on looking for booking . use an agent or do it yourself ?... do you have any agents in mind?

I know quite a bit of info has been spread about these in RO, but what I'm interested in is if anyone has heard or used both. I'm looking for a cheaper alternative to Averville's but I need that "neve" sound. I already have an 8 ch. M80 (PreSonus) and a 4ch. M1(Hardy) but I need something with more aggresiveness, especially for vocals.

I'm learning a lot about Cubase SX and things are going well.

I recently created a song using the drum editor and went to mixdown to a CD and the drum editor track did not mix down. I'm using Reason and those MIDI tracks mixed down, so I don't understand what's going on.

I have read the manual and can't seem to find it in there.

Just interested in how people have delt with their rcas on the delta 1010lt. Looking for options and suggestions. I am going to need to hook-up about 8 mics and cant figure out how.

i got myself a second external compressor cause i dont like the 02R internals.

my first compressor is used only for my mic. so it's between mic and 02r...

I think it would be good if we where to create list of the basic steps that someone needed to accomplish in order to install and set up a Linux DAW. A Roadmap so to speak.
