Leave of Absence
Hey guys...
I will be gone for a few days and will not be able to respond or even check on the forum on the days I will be gone. I am going to NYC to visit my sister who has just had major surgery..
I will be leaving April 4th and will be back home on April 9th...

Headphone/HP amp recommendations
Recently I've had a couple of projects come thru my place w/some SERIOUSLY loud drummers/guitar players. Marshall stax, 5150, etc. and I'm afraid my current cue mix setup was pretty much woefully inadequate.

Question about partitioning
My new ANUS has arrived. Let the build begin.
I've got a two Seagate drives, a 40GB and a 60GB; thinking about partitioning them 20/20 and 30/30. I will be installing Win2000 pro, but have decided to use FAT 32 and not NTFS.
Is there any any conventional wisdom on partitions?

Hi Daniel, Quo Vadis
We miss you on the Tascam company forum. Where are you off to (and can you beat a sentence ending with TWO prepositions)?
Best wishes,

Unused audio files
After a lot of bouncing I realize there are lots of unused samples inside the audio files folder I created for my project. Like many other programs there should be a way to clean up "the pool" (Cubase/ Nuendo term) for being able to backup a lighter folder. I checked the Audio Window chapter but nothing about this "cleaning" is said.

Sonorus Converters?
Anyone have experience with the Sonorus converters, like their 4 channel half rack units? Do these compare to the LUCID/APOGEE/RME camp or are they in the minor leagues in terms of sound quality. Thank you.

RME DIGI96/8 PAD + expansionboard
Hi,
Is it true that the expansionboards(input) only support samplerates up to 48kHz ? if so, what's the point of having a 24/96 card ?
In another thread something was mentioned about a stereo signal coming out of the output boards..is it possible to hook my monitors up with the outputs that are on the digi96/8 itself ?
