Hello from a new Asus-Northwood user
Forums
Hi folks,
Seeing as more and more people, following in OPUS's footsteps, are selecting the Asus - Northwood combo for their new DAWs, I suggest we form Asus-Northwood User Society (ANUS for short) :)

Bitching. .
Forums
Have you guys read any other forums that dont have bitching sessions? I think this is the only forum that doesnt have one...so, in honor of that lets bitch at audiokid just for the hell of it..
I feel we're missing out on something if there's no bitching in here?
I'll start it off!

Syncing a Analog Multitrack to DAW
Forums
I am considering purchasing an analog reel-reel 8 track recorder and using it along with my DAW which consists of a Gadget Labs 824 soundcard and N-track. I would like to record bass and drums on the reel-reel and the rest on the DAW, can these two machines be accurately synced together? How does one go about doing this?

Probably a stupid question
Forums
THis is probably a stupid question, but I had to ask. Does this thing turn off? The light on the I/O box only goes out when I shut down my comp, is that normal, or did I miss something in the manual.

CS1x Problems
Forums
I'm stuck on how to get the CS1x to sequence properly. I'm running Cubase and whenever I try to start with drums, I can't seem to get the drum sounds to continue when I try other sounds on other tracks. I'm using the serial port instead of MIDI cables/interface. I've tried "Local" on and off. What am I doing wrong? Does anyone like this keyboard?
Thanks

Hi there,
I apologise if I come across as an idiot, but I'm a musican, and not a tehnician! Please, if you the time, try to help me!

Workstation/Sequencer EQ'ing.
Forums
I have been researching recording techniques for the past few weeks and one common thread from the experts seems to always be present, in addition to panning, volumes, etc. To "leave or make room" for vocals by gently adjusting the mid-range frequencies as not to "mud up" the space for a vocal track.
