I'm considering one and would appreciate opinions on this mic from anyone who has used it.

Here's what I am attempting to setup:

Mac g4
QS8.1
DP3
Digi 001
OMS
Freemidi

What works:

I can play back midi files from DP3 through the QS8. When I test midi config in both OMS and FreeMidi everthing looks ok.

BTW, my OMS config works perfectly with PTLE 5.1.

What is not working:

I'm very new to this forum. I have been looking for an Interface for my computer with really good converters, and enough inputs (XLR and 1/4 in.) to allow me to get around comfortably.

I was hoping that one of the many experienced Recording.org regulars could help me out.

The M-1 has two analog in's as well as digital in's. The only problem is you have to use one or the other so you are limited to only two in's at a time. Oh well. :mad:

Has anyone here had a chance to compare the new AKG 451 to the original with the cardiod capsule. if so what were your impressions? I have a yen for a new pair of small diaphrams.
