Email Booking War
Forums
I thought I'd throw this out there. I received it as email being on the band's email list - I think it illustrates two perspectives in the indy band promo/booking schism.

New Computer Too Wimpy?
Forums
{EDIT: Whoops, I meant to post this under the computing thread rather than the digital cafe...]
Well, I'm bummed, and not sure if there is any help that anyone can give me... :(
Finally finished updating my new "dedicated" DAW computer, and unfortunately, it looks like it doesn't have enough horsepower...

Syncing question
Forums
I have an Echo Layla that I am syncing to my BRC that runs 3 ADATS. Now, they do lock, and I can control the Layla. However, doing some testing, I recorded 2 tracks of audio onto the ADATs and 2 tracks of audio onto Layla. I hear what I would call Major phase shifs when I play them back together. I am just starting to work with smpte, MTC so any help would be great. Thanks John

22 Performers in 8 Countries creating 56 audio tracks, O
Forums
It all started as a stupid idea on a bulletin board. And now it is completed. The "Independent Artist Coalition", as we chose to call our rag-tag gang of 22 performers from all over the planet (8 countries) joining virtual hands and by MP3 technology collaborated on one song, a unity-song for this beaten up world we live in.
Mixfest songs - technical details needed

Received my CDR with Blatchford files yesterday. Got it delivered at my porch by the postman on the motorcycle (I live in a remote village on an island). As he realized, while handing me the letter, that it came from the USA, he rushed to wash his hands and then speedily disappeared :D .
Just curious, I'll enjoy mixing it anyway.
