A seemingly simple MMC question. .
Forums
Hi,
I've been using Cubase for a couple years now (PC, but don't hold it against me), and currently have the latest version of VST32. I want to use the transport controls on my Tascam TMD8000 for Cubase, but no one seems to know how. So let's see if someone on this new site can step up and figure it out. Thanks in advance...

Looking for sequencer
Forums
I'm looking for a sequencer with the following features:
- Either PC or hardware
- Pattern based
- Sync to MTC/SMPTE or has own smartsync
- Can switch on and off patterns/channels while running
Is there anything like this around?
Any suggestions?

audio moves when cut?
Forums
Hello group, my name is Ken Basman. I am using Cubase 4.1/24 on a 400mhz G3, with a MOTU 1224 interface...that said, I was wondering what solutions/workarounds people have for the problem that audio when snipped in the arrange window will occasionally move...disabling snap to zero helps somewhat, but only somewhat...OK 'nuff said...any takers?
Ken

PC Motherboard - Asus A7M266?
Forums
I desperately need to build another Nuendo box. I was gonna wait until summer for the dual-cpu Athlon boards, but need something now, like this week.
Anyway, the A7M266 has all the right stuff on paper. Anyone around here using it? I'll be using RME cards and Windows 2000, no MOTU or Digi stuff.

Tascam133 Dissolver? AVG
Forums
Hello Daniel and Staci,I got some info from a NG Scott Dorsey wrote that I need a 'dissolver' for this deck. What is it?If I can get schematics for it I can build one but I prefer to purchase one if they are still available.I got the deck off eBay and no one ever listed a dissolver in the decriptions as ancillary equipt.Maybe I should ditch this unit and get a 122ii/iii instead.TIA Marty

What is right to drive?
Forums
Or should I say "to be or not to be".
the question, How many hard drives do you need in your PC system? 2 or 3?
I have heard that having one drive for your Windows 98SE, one for the apps and one for your audio data is the way to go. and if so, How do you hook it up as far as master and slaves? rocmuzic@aol.com
Thanks
Lou
