I have a Behringer X1622 USB mixer, and i was wondering if i could use a wireless USB transmitter to connect my laptop to my mixer, and if so, would it affect the sound quality at all?

I have 2 channels on my Mackie that are way too loud compared to others at the same level.

I have swapped cables with channels that are good and still have the same problem...

I have just tested the VST3/64bit demo of this 3 piece set http://www.virsyn.d…"]VTAPE[/]="http://www.virsyn.d…"]VTAPE[/] in Nuendo 5 and I must say it is quite nice to work with.

I was wondering what is done to a dry track before routing it to an aux? compression and eq? for what instruments are best with hard compression and whats best for soft compression?

I've just installed 2 patchbays into my studio and I'm having some issues.

I have 1x MOTU 24 i/o
2x Behringer Ultrapatch Pro
1x Aphex Aural Exciter Type C2 with Big Bottom

The patch which is causing the trouble is 1&2 OUT from the MOTU, into the Exciter via the patchbaythen back the board via the patchbay.

I've been selling CD's since 1997 and watched the transition to digital happen. I sell CD's via my home site and Amazon, but I also sell digital downloads on iTunes and Amazon via Tunecore. I can tell you that it's getting to about 1 CD sold for every 10 digital download sales. I used to get an order or two per day off my web site about 4 years ago. Now it's about 1 order every 15 days.

Does anyone have any experience with this mic? I am on a severe budget and I am just wondering what mic to go for.

I have a allen and heath zed r16 and it has a 6 to 6 pin and 6 to 4 firewire lead with it.I want to run it with my pc.Used to use delta 66.

Do I need to replace this card and put a firewire card in?If so any good ones recommended or do they all do the same job?

Hi I'm using Cubase and velociraptor as current main HD, and want to know if worth the upgrade. I'm most concerned about loading times of projects, since I'm constantly switching between projects and have to wait couple minutes for them to load due to massive amounts of vst instruments n effects i use. Will an ssd make a difference in project loading times? thnks

At night, around the same time, all of the speakers in my studio start to make noise. It's a crackling noise, like a scratchy record, mixed with a little hum. I think it might start when the security lights outside the building come on, but at this point I am certainly not sure.
