I have a friend who's getting married this summer. It's an outdoor service in a park far away from any electrical service. However, they do expect ~100 people and would like sound amplification for people speaking, and for the musical components of the service and I offered to do the sound.

I have a rare opportunity - a month and a half with pay but no work, and gotta stay at home because we have a newborn kid. I want to build a studio in my garage, which is relatively big with a hard tile floor as in the pic below:

I lost my power cord to my Marshall DFX 100. I found a similar power cord lying around my house which works with my Ibanez practice amp and I'm wondering will it work with the Marshall, as well?

I'm from malaysia.. and my parents going to the states this coming few days..

I wonder if somebody from anaheI'm can give an address of where to buy the Digidesign mbox pro 2 or other audio device as well?

Address will help a lot as my parents is not expert with that kind of shop.. THANKS

hi i am quiet new to recording to my computer i used to use kristal which worked fine i have now switched to adobe audition 3.0 i worked fine as well but i haven't recorded onto it in a while and now i have went on plugged the amps rec out into the computers mic input plugged the amp into the fx pedal and fx pedal into the guitar and tried to record and its not working i use realtek HD as a inp

I am looking to get a computer to run my PreSonus Firestudio. I am low on cash, so I was looking to get a Dell.

Any quick thoughts on whether a basic Dell could handle the FireStudio. Also, any recommendations on the PCI FireWire card?

i'm amateur software developer, and i'm writing a program that will "read" given text. i record phonemes, one-by-one, but because i don't record them in studio (actually i'm recording them at home, with sh*tty microphone), every .wav file has different amplitude, frequency, etc, and after gluing, it sounds terrible. what can i do?

Somebody please help. I haven't been able to record for about 2 or 3 months now. I was recording a kids camp and everything was ok for the first 4 weeks then my computer just stopped recognizing my MOTU 8 pre interface. I've been to the mac service center about 4 or 5 times and the MOTU service center about 6 or 7 times.
