Hello ladies and gents. My Orion 32 keeps disconnection via USB so I was thinking would it still work using MADI? Would I need to configure anything in the control panel cause sometimes I can't get to it?

Hello, I'm recording a guitar and backing track and a mic to a video camera (yes, I know it would be better to use a dedicated audio recorder, but we're not so please don't suggest a Zoom recorder, etc.), and I'm trying to determine the best configuration for the guitar sound. What's going on: whenever I try to record a DI signal from my guitar I have noise in the background. That noise appears even when the guitar isn't plugged in.

When your signal hits a analog channel on a console.

1) Does it hit the capacitors that are in the console first? and then the signal hits what ever hardware you have on your inserts? or is it after?

I'd like to know if any of you have every tried recording analog drum machines onto a Tascam Portastudio?

I want to record a Korg Volca Beats to my Tascam Portastudio 414 mkii but no matter what I try there's feedback and the kick sounds very unstable.

Any help at all?
