How to record multiple multi-track songs Easily in Garageband

I am recording my band's rehearsals (and possible gigs down the road) using a Tascam US-16x8 and Garageband. I am using multiple tracks. and for the first attemp recorded the whole rehearsal as one project. I have used Audacity in the past (2 tracks) and it was easy to then mix and extract the different songs. I cannot figure it out in Garageband.

Speakers or DAC what to upgrade next (1k budget)

I'm thinking of what my next move should be as far as putting my new basic rig together, besides the seemingly endless computer parts. right now I'm rocking an Avid eleven, and Focusrite scarlett solo interfaces, and Alesis monitor one speakers, with an avantone on the shortlist, and a Bose home theater, and various Bluetooth and computer speakers.

Kontakt Komplete 11

After a successful time with Kontakt player, I decided to go for this package, which seems to be on everlasting sale, and frankly, I wasn't expecting much as I don't have much use for modern stuff - and the collection is packed with synths and drum machines and weird sounds. However there were enough things I'd find useful so I went for it. 115GB later, I thought I'd have a go.

MIDI Sample Pad to use with SP404 sx

Does anyone know of any sample pad devices that I can connect to my SP-404sx. The idea is to use this sample pad to trigger sounds from the SP-404sx.

The sample pad doesn't need to have the capacity to hold sounds, it just needs to be able to be used to control the SP404s pads via MIDI.

Ive seen the Sp404 controlled by MIDI here:

Home Recording Studio Build It Like The Pros

I've recently moved to Mongolia and most of my gear is in Canada. I'd like to be able to do a bit of hobby recording but don't want anything too big or expensive and am wondering if there is anything on the market that has both audio interface and headphone amplifier capability in one unit. It doesn't need to be great quality as I've got good stuff in Canada I can bring next time I visit.

Unusual job of the year - performance audio track about menopause!

We've got enough work to keep us gently busy through till around November - all project work that the two of use do in our individual studios, working together and separate linked via the net. Both of us have time for little one offs, but we don't advertise.
