Sorry, I might have posted this in the wrong group earlier. I'm looking for folks who have used the Genelec 8010a. I'm considering buying them for travel gigs. If I use them at home I can easily tune a sub in with the system using Smaart. Im just not sure if these will perform. Thanks in advance!

Hi all, i just picked up a crappy bottom of the line midi keyboard to suit my broke ass recording needs and obviously the keyboard has no velocity control, when you hit a key, no matter how hard, it comes out the same volume, when recording in pro tools, is there a way to semi mimic the velocity of a piano or midi effect?

Hi everybody. Sorry for my recent absence; my mom’s passing hit me much harder than I anticipated, and I ended up dealing with some pretty major depression issues...

It looks like UA is trying to make a leap toward high-end audio . The x16 model has 133db dynamic range on the DA side (monitor outputs) 124db on the line ins, 127 on the line outs. With price points staying the same as the previous gen, this line of Apollo is looking really sweet. Its nice to see attention given to the DA sides since you can't mix what you cant hear.
