Taylor GS Mini Bass
Anyone here ever used the GS Mini Bass?
I'm thinking about getting a starting bass for one of my daughters whom I’m proud to say is an accomplished pianist already.

back after a few years
Hi all: AudioKid, PCRecord, Makzimia, etc. Haven't been on since early '16. Last I was here I was mastering Makzimia's material, analog, along with AudioKid (who was doing the same, digitally) and we had a big COMPETITION GOING! :ROFLMAO:

Home Recording Studio Build It Like The Pros
I've recently moved to Mongolia and most of my gear is in Canada. I'd like to be able to do a bit of hobby recording but don't want anything too big or expensive and am wondering if there is anything on the market that has both audio interface and headphone amplifier capability in one unit. It doesn't need to be great quality as I've got good stuff in Canada I can bring next time I visit.

Unusual job of the year - performance audio track about menopause!
We've got enough work to keep us gently busy through till around November - all project work that the two of use do in our individual studios, working together and separate linked via the net. Both of us have time for little one offs, but we don't advertise.
Dante Network Adpters Now Available (xlr-ethernet, usb-ethernet, aes-ethernet)
this is pretty cool stuff. seems like a pretty painless way to patch into the world of Ethernet, without sacrificing your analog toys. max sample rates 96k, 48k on the usb one, but that's noes an issue for most things. id love to see an 8 channel, and ultra high sample rate model soon, for audiophiles and home theater applications. wifi support cant be too far away either.
Is it usefull to have both - NS 10's, and Mixcubes
hey I'm looking into some monitoring for mixing around the house in various spaces, while its being re-modeled and the setup moves around from room to room. I'm just wondering if its worthwhile to have both mixcubes, and NS-10's, ie, are they conveying the same information.
ZED10FX Question re: Monitor Out
I'm using a ZED10FX mixer. Bought a headphone splitter amplifier box that I have connected to the RCA Monitor Outs. Have a Mic in the first channel on the mixer. I have the MAIN XLR outs going into a video camera.

MS with shotgun? Feedback anyone?
I've been asked to record a guy in a living room playing guitar and singing. I first thought to have a cardioid for the singer and the shotgun for the guitar so I can get better signals from each source.

mixing ITB vs. Mackie 32/8
hi guys, could it still make sense in 2018, mix with an old but good Mackie 32/8? could I reach the same audio quality as an inbox mix? the idea is to use the daw for compression / effects and the mixer for the sum of the signals and the equalizer. thank you
