I don't know what the general opinion of AES is around here but AES is in San Fran. in one month.

Don't suppose anyone's headed there? Might be a cool idea for anyone that does plan to be there to sync their itineraries. I'm not going this year but it would be cool, if some of the forum members could meet no?

how do i sync filmed takes of each track as its being recorded with the track itself on a multitrack song?

(so i can than edit them into a video featuring each track being recorded on film as its being heard on the song etc.)

I record to a Radar 24 that replaced our 2" tape machine 12 years ago. I am having the radar upgraded to write in wave files, putting in an ethernet card, and eventually ADAT light pipe. I have a macbook pro.

I've been working on recording a 15 track album for the last year and I've finally gotten it to a point that I'm comfortable sharing it and getting feedback. I recorded everything in my bedroom studio and am actually quite happy with the outcome based on my minimal experience.

I have 12 year old Mogami mic cable (no idea what number as it is worn off) and am wondering if it degrades in sound quality?

or ... is the new Mogami mic cable better sounding than the old?

For years I used Orion to create all of my music. I became so familiar with it that nothing else (to me) was even close. About two years ago, I switched to an Apple. While I'm certain I'll never look back (to a PC) for anything else I do, I really miss the simplicity of that application. Any recommendations? Regards.
