RME Fireface 800-Do I still need PreSonus Eureka or GT The Brick to record wit the FF
Forums
Ive got an RME Fireface. would like to warm up the sound. The PreSonus Eureka sounds like a great options and value. I'm on a budget so dont even mention Neve or API, othewise it would be Neve all the way for me. I've been reading about the Brick by Groove Tubes, sounds like more of what Im looking for. Do I need both, one or neither.
Creating a Crowd
Forums
I have been working on a project of mine that I think could use a crowd effect. By that I mean I want parts of the song to sound like there is a crowd in the background calling back on certain ques. I have tried two different approaches, and they sound, well... fake.

Where to find old Casio patches
Forums
Guys,
There are some sounds on the old Casio keyboards I'd really like to record, but those old keyboards themselves don't record very well. Anyone know of a site I could download some of these sounds from? For those of you who might be familiar, I'm looking for the 'Twinkle Echo', and 'Wah Voice' sounds particularly. That'll be it for now,
Thanks.

Dual-Core DAW build - MIDI Recording No Physical
Forums
Hello, I fell upon the forum 4 days ago and have been reading and searching many posts. It helped me narrow down very much what I am looking for but I remain with some questions. I am very new at music production.
I am aiming to build a dedicated DAW mainly to produce house/electronic music. I will be doing no physical voice or instrument recording. Here is what I have as a PC.
to share or not to share, that is the question
Forums
Hi everyone,
Can you help me with some advice? I have a band with 2 other members in it (total 3) we have been playing together for over 3 years with the drummer and about 4 with the bass player. I have 2 records, one was made with the bass player and the other with the new drummer and bass player.

A band that i engineer has just got an endorsement from Yamaha. We want a Drum Kit. Very Hard Rock, metal. Want a very mordern sound.
Which Yamaha Drum Kit is best suited. The Stage and Recording Customs as Birch. Are Birch and Maple equal ?
Next post on Drum heads.
