Hi, new here and am looking for advice about plugins. I've been looking into Wavesbecause it seems like most people use those. I saw they are doing a special with GTR and I wanted to ask if you guys have any opinions about that. Is it worth it if I can get both packages together?

So, I've finally gotten around to recording a bit with the AT4080 and have to say that I really like it so far. I can't offer comparisons to really anything else other than the Fat Head 2, which I sold, but thought it may be worthwhile to post a clip since there aren't really any/many out there to be found for those that are interested in this microphone.

While we're making our rehearsals (we're not playing live yet), we often want to use some backing tracks in addition to those few instruments we play.
This can be quite easily done by just having one track with click, and one track with backing track, and playing it via some player (click for drummer).

So I'd like to stick to PC if possible because my brother works for Microsoft and I get Microsoft software for 90% off. So, from what I've read. The pc standard mixing software is acid pro. In acid pro can I compose classical music via notation? Does acid pro have the ability to provide me with decent quality synths (strings, brass, winds, piano, etc)?
