I am wanting to create a sound like this one. It has something to do with LFOs with a degree of instability.

[Shows itself at 0:25-0:30 as it rises in pitch and does so again a few times throughout such as 1:25 and 3:00]

I'd like to know more about 5w/10w amps - which ones you like, or would recommend and why. I think a small tube amp would be nice for recording. I find my Hot Rod is a bit too loud in most cases.

I haven't researched much and would appreciate some advice to give me a starting point in my search for a quality amp.

I am having some issues with some studio monitors and have been lying around and I am trying to use them again.

One of them creates no sound at all, the front light still illuminates though.
The other appears to only play sound from the tweeter and not the sub.

I have tried different inputs and different input devices with the same result.

I keep getting audio droputs in Cubase when trying to record, also during playback, and it usually occurs within the first 30 secs - 2 mins, and never later than 5 – 7 mins without a dropout. ASIO time usage meter looks fine than indicates a quick random spike hence dropouts.

I'm about to try a new approach to live monitoring in rock gigs.
Playing in a rock band, I always have issues with live stage sound. It's never good enough. So I'll try a new system in which I'll control my on monitor. (see atttached image).

I always wondered how they fix chips on acoustics. I just learned a new term call Drop Fill.
