I have a line on a MINT SM20 40 in 20 out Mixing console with 2 CPS 800 power supplies for 1000.00 is it worth the trip to get it? What would be the benefits for Live Sound? or should I just keep it for the Studio I am building?

I explain a little about my situation. I am a violinist and I have some experience in recordings (rather being recorded, which has given me some experience especially in editing) but I do not have much experience as far as recording equipment is concerned, now I only have a Zoom H6 and a couple of mics Studio Projects C4 with which I usually record some concerts.

I'm reasonably new to recording and have never used Rack Effects before. I have been given an Alesis Micorverb 4. Now this is the stupid question bit -

This past weekend, I started a new project; it's an album being recorded for a charitable cause. Titled The O.A.S.I.S. Project, (Ohio Artists Singing In Support) net proceeds from the sales of this album, which includes a who's who of veteran Cleveland/Akron/Canton songwriters and musicians, will be donated to facilities that specialize in Opiate Addiction Recovery.

So, to start things off, I've been recording most of my music over the years on a simple USB mic (AT2020 to be exact), and as faithful as it's been since I've had it, I finally decided to jump to the next level and start working with XLR mics and recently bought an AT4040 (I'm overall very fond of Audio-technica -brand products), along with a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2nd-Gen, One-Input interface.
