Hey it's me again. Anyways I was recording the distorted guitar parts for my friend's band and I couldn't seem to get it to sound right. It sounds too distorted and like there is too much high frequency. The mic is placed about an inch away from the amp, I'm using an Audix dynamic mic to record. We are using a metal zone but the distortion is turned down almost all the way.

I cant figure out how to get my MIDI insterments to play out load during play back. What do i need to do.
Im using a Fast Track Pro Interface, And an Axiom49 keyboard, And recording on CWMC3.

I have a gear-related challenge which, if it's the evening in your part of the world, and you've had a beer or two, you might (fingers crossed) be willing to take up!

Or under 1000.00 for that matter. I use a set of Alesis M1 Actives at work and I like them. They are not the most accurate I have heard though. Does anyone know of some that are smaller that are at least as accurate? The M1s run about 399 a pair. If I could find a used pair of anything cheaper than this, it would be great.

New Mixer

I am just wondering, about the bottom end in a mix. I listened to several CDs and I realized that from the 80s to current that this has changed so much. I love a nice big bottom end. (lol) I have been getting good results with my set up but it's still not quite what I want.

guys i know this is an audio forum but i really need to know if i can find any source that explains how to recover a hard drive and the softwares used for this purpose.
right now I'm not in a position to take it to any services center. any help i will appreciate.

I know, I know, you supposedly CANT get quality recordings out of USB microphones.

BUT, I have heard AMAZING things about this microphone, and its abilities as a USB microphone as far as quality goes; comparable to non-USB mics well above its price range of only $199.

Supposedly you can record at a lot higher of a quality level than ever before through a USB microphone.

I recently purchased the padkontrol and cannot find ANY information on why I am unable to use the midi ports in order to interact with my Roland Sonic Cell. Any midi device connected to the Sonic Cell never has any issues sending/receiving midi data.
