I have a Carillon audio PC which is about 4 years old. It is a Pentium 3.2gHz with 2GB of RAM.
I would like to get a new mother board, cpu and RAM.
My budget is £170 tops!

I've been looking into possibly upgrading from my mbox2 in the future to the Digidesign 003 rack. It has 8 in 8 out. Only 4 of those inputs are XLR but i've heard and read of getting 8 inputs using ADAT which is how many inputs i'd want for drums etc.

hi, this is my comeback to recording.org, and I've got a juli@ card from egosystems. I've recordes synhts for a long time with it, but was wondering to what extent I could expand what I do with it: so I would like to know if I can record a bass guitar, and if this is possible what I need in addition.

How does one get into the writing/recording for game music?

I'm trying to get our church to move up to a larger mixer. I have not looked at buying a new mixer in five or six years, so I'm looking in all directions. After primary considerations of sound quality and durability, ease of operations comes in a strong third. We don't need a large number of buses or aux outs.
