Hi,
I have been using Cubase for some time now, however just using audio. I want to be able to record using midi in Cubase 4 and to be able to create a score with very basic notation. I have looked at the manual and well. mm...hence being here.

reverse reverb for the snare...
Forums
k... i was always wondering how to get that "whip crack" reverse buildup technique for the snare drum, like they used in 80's rock songs. Recording a violin
few simple questions...
Forums
although, i'm a drummer, drums are always the most difficult for me to record...
1. drum overheads, what polar pattern should i have them on?
2. is it considered a "no-no" to record the drums in parts?
3. the snare is way too loud on the overhead, any way to fix that post recording?
thanks,
-josh

Are there any generalizations one can make regarding the frequency ranges affected by the tone knobs on a guitar amp?
i.e. the range of bass, mid, treble, and presence
i.e. bass (80-300hz) *not sure if this is correct

Firewire 3200
Forums
Well, it looks like FW3200 (allowing 400 MB/Sec transfer rates) is on its way. Perhaps as early as Februare 2008, the standard may be ratified by the IEEE.
I wonder what implications this will have on the audio world.
Hmmm. 32 channels of bi-directional DSD 5.6Mhz. twould be nice.
