I have been setting up a studio over the past few months, and I've got good instruments as well as mics and amps now, but I have a question regarding recording multiple channels at once.

This is my first post/question to the forums and I'm excited to be here. I just bought the Ediroal UA-4FX USB Audio Capture (24 bit 96khz). It has one standard 1/4" input and one XLR mic input. In the 1/4", I've plugged in my Mackie DFX-6 Live Sound Mixer (I'm aware its not the best for home recording, but its better than my Behringer Power Amp as a preamp).

Now I am interested in getting PA system so my band can gig and let people pay us to use the PA instead of the other way around.

i just want to buy a single XLR analog to digital converter to feed my recording mic into garage band.

it has to be portable for location recording with my macbook pro, and USB or firewire powered. i just want the cheapest and smallest solution.

I was recommended Digidesign's Mbox 2 Mini recently by a friend of mine. However I've read some negative reviews about it, and my computer only has 512 RAM. I was wondering what my best bet for recording is under $350, not including the cost of a mic.

Thoughts? It'd be my first ever audio interface, but I understand the basics of mixing and recording, so I'm sure I could do good things with it.

I am looking to buy a cheap interface or mixer. really all i want in 2 XLR inputs and some way of getting them into my computer

I've been a songwriter for the past 3 years and I'm finally getting interested in a simple home recording studio. I've already picked out my mics, MXL 990 for vocals and MXL993 for acoustic instruments. Now here's where I have a problem, I need a decent interface. I've been looking at the Lexicon Omega, PreSonus Firebox, Focusrite Saffire, and the Focusrite Saffire LE.

What's the best way to wire up a guitar?
I've seen all the stuff about depending on how it needs to sound, but the very wiring needs looked at I reckon.
