Converting a Shed into a Recording Studio
Hi,
New here. I've been building a she shed for my wife and she realized it would be better if we swapped the music room in the house for her to set up her sewing and I move into her she shed and use it as the music room.

Where To Place Desk And Monitors
I can only use the living room in my new apartment. I need advice where to place my desk and monitors. The 3D rendering is of the apartment but the furnishings aren't mine. Think of the living room empty. I haven't moved in yet.

Studio setup advice with an off sided window
I have a 11 x 13 x 9ft ceiling room with a front window that covers most of that wall. My problem is when I center my mixing position on this window wall as I have been advised to do by other designers, I get one speaker in front of the window and one on what's left of the wall. So one speaker on window and one on a wall.

Perforated wood boards with absorber behind, any use?
I picked up some cheap MDF perforated (slits) board, some had a little bit of absorber behind them. Would they be useful to put up against the walls as room treatment? I would add more absorber behind them, mostly they would be going where no 1st reflection treatments are, or behind the desk and speakers as an aesthetic item.
