Home studio set up for metal

ok, so this is my first thread. i am the drummer and rhythm guitarist for my band. over years i have upgraded recording equipment. i started with a 4 tracks and bounced tracks by mixing down to a vcr, which sucked. i have grown up and want to pursue a degree in audio production. my band plans to record a 10 song album by ourselves. this is my set up, all my band and i have for gear:

New to recording/my gear choice

Hey I'm new to recording and i was just wondering exactly what i needed to start recording my own stuff at home. I write a lot of music and i play various instruments Guitar/bass guitar/piano/drums/saxophone/trumpet etc; Music is basically what i love to do ;my passion. I'm fairly young and i want to start myself off into music as career if possible

I NEED. HELP.

Okay, I need to know first, if I can get professional vocals out of the following things I have and second, how I go about it generally. I'm having a big vocal problem; everything music wise that I've arranged is perfect and solid; but the vocal quality of the recordings make everything sound so ametuer. Here's my chain:
