Tips on Sound Proofing A Home Studio
I am looking to find somewhat cheap ways or learn tricks of the trade to help reduce sound (treatment) in my live room I record in. I am looking to see if there are cheap methods or tips that people could share with me in order to eliminate excess sound.

i need some help here
set up all my stuff and it sounds terrible. last week i had it somewhere else and it sounded good. whats goin on
i got an AKG 220 hanging in the closet with about 3 blankets and a mattress
hooked up to a samson phantom power box which then goes to the laptop.

Home studio set up for metal
ok, so this is my first thread. i am the drummer and rhythm guitarist for my band. over years i have upgraded recording equipment. i started with a 4 tracks and bounced tracks by mixing down to a vcr, which sucked. i have grown up and want to pursue a degree in audio production. my band plans to record a 10 song album by ourselves. this is my set up, all my band and i have for gear:

First off, Hi everyone! This forum seems like a great resource, and I've already learned tons here. I'd love to give advice whenever I'm qualified.
Recording vocals in bedroom?
I do this all in my bedroom at home... I am not looking for a professional result, but anything that could cut down on picking up extra room noise. Hang up blankets? Sing in a corner? I appreciate any help. I use a RODE Nt2-a if that makes any difference, and it goes in through my firepod. Thanks!

I write a lot of music and i play various instruments Guitar/bass guitar/piano/drums/saxophone/trumpet etc; Music is basically what i love to do ;my passion. I NEED. HELP.
