Newb advice

Hey up, I'm after some help in how/where I can get drum and simple percussion tracks from to use in either Cubase LE or Sony Acid pro 7. I'm recording some acoustic guitar and vocals but would like to add some simple beats without having to get a drum kit. I thought that both Cubase and Acid had drum loops or drum machine type things in them but I cant frigure them out for the life of me!

Need Advice

Hello Everyone, I did music recordings in mid 80's with moderate success. Now 20 some years later I have an offer from a company in the UK interested republishing one of my song on a compilation project. I have received a contract, but would like to receive feedback on red flags to look for or get advice on a counter offer. All help is appreciated.

Regards, Al W

Advice Wanted Please

Hi there,
I'm looking to get back into recording my own stuff again and was wondering if anyone had any advice on which home recording studio to get. I started off years ago with fostex 4 channel tape studios and my last one was a 4 channel MD recording studio however I have certain requirements now that Id like to meet and was looking for some guidance or advice.

Need Major recording advice

I'm new to recording songs, but I'm a good producer. Anyway, I need to know the basics of recording a song. How many times do you record the chorus or you record once and use reverb? Also do you record the chorus each time after the verse? Last and not least do you have to use compression or just mange the gain well? I mean what parts are commpression used on anyway?
