As your newly appointed Apogee tech ;) I'd like to see a show of hands to how many people use Apogee, what type of setup you have and your opinions and so forth. Or if you have used Apogee but dont own it whats your opinion anyways! Look forward to your responses

Hi all, maybe someone can help me understand this...
I'd like to have two Apogee Rosetta converters running into a PC (using Logic). This would require two S/PDIF inputs, when most soundcards only have one. Can this be done with two separate soundcards following S/PDIF sync?
I'm assuming that the two Apogees would be connected via word clock.

I am trying to sync the D8B and HDR 24/96 via an Apogee Word Clock card. The D8B is the Master, therefore, when I go into the Setup screen, I set the clock to Word Clock, and same on the HDR 24/96.

When I try to sync, I get a Lock Error. Can anybody help me ?. May be I am doing something wrong in configuring these two machines.

was wondering if anyone here has used either the Apogee AD-1000 / CRane Song HEDD?

Its a 5 year old or so 20-bit ADC with built in Millennia-Media preamps that are based on the HV-3s (these are dual servo where as the hv-3s are not servo pres)
