I found an old thread about this but didn't find a resolution. The thread contained advice from Opus indicating that each harddrive should be connected separately to it's own IDE controller, positioned on the connector closest to the motherboard, and that the CD drives should be slaved from them.

I am recording from an AKG 1000s microphone into a dbx preamp. Also using a Kurzwel K2500.

What setting are needed on the various inputs and outputs on the back of the dbx preamp. there is achoice of dbV and dBu (-10 and =4)

in particular,

1. What is needed on the input from the Kurzweil?

I know there's some kind of cable involved. But what kind of cord? I have a generic soundcard so it doesnt connect to that. What cord am I looking for? I'm not worried about multiple midi things connected. Just midi keyboard -> computer.

I had posted an earlier email regarding connectivity from my Roland XP-60 Sequencer to HDR 24/96. I finally got it connected and was successful in laying down my tracks.

The only problem that I had discovered, that once I did my initial tracks such as Drums, Bass and Piano it recorded fine because it was the initial tracks.

I am trying to connect my Roland XP-60 Sequencer with HDR 24/96 via D8B as my Master.

I have got a Word Clock Card installed in D8B. How can I sync these three devices together ?.

My sequencer has the standard MIDI In / Out connector.

Please advise .
