connecting a TC Fireworx

i'm new to this forum. wondering if anyone could give me some advice. just bought a TC fireworx and would like to know what the optimal way of connecting it into my present setup might be.
i have a MOTU 828 MK 2 ( analog and digital ins/outs) runing into a G4 1.25 and using Digital Performer 4.1. i have no external mixing board.

Phase Question - Connecting patchbayto inputs of console

I have decided to use a patchbay to connect the wall jacks to the back on the console. I have ADC patchbay with punchdown's in the back. My question is will I reverse the + and - on the patchbay when I wire it up ? There is a phase button on each channel. The mixer ( Tac Scorpion )shows the XLR and line inputs as being =

pin 1 - sleeve
pin 2 - -
pin 3 - +

Connecting desk with external converters

I presently have a 2 in/ 2 out sound card from emagic and I am looking around for an upgrade. I need an 8 in 8 out card lwith an external AD/DA converter ike the MOTU mk2/3 or the Aardvarkq10 etc etc. - the reason being, I'd like to record drums with a track per mic. (as you can imagine, trying to record drums on just two tracks is hard work)

connecting my mixer to my quadraverb...how hard could it

When I connect my Mackie cr1604's "aux/monitor outputs" channel 2 to the quadraverb's input, then I connect the "aux returns to master" channel 2 to the quadraverbs output I should get the desired effect if the aux pot and the aux level are set to unity, correct? I hear the guitar coming out of my monitors but there is no effect of the guitar.
