A question about some mixing/interface consoles.

Is there a console or an interface that has faders on each channel that you recorded that you can adjust the level of the highs and lows? or is there just a fader for volume? Because i know you can get an interface like the M-Audio project mix that has the auto fades. But is there something that i can hook up to my pc that alows me to do that too, also not owning any pro=tools gear.

Audiofire mixing console

I just bought an Audiofire12 unit and it comes with the Tracktion software that is supposed to work with the Audiofire mixing console. I have managed to set up the output in the Tracktion software so the levels are showing on the Output 1-2-buses, but the 12 individual tracks are not coming over from Tracktion into individual tracks in the mixing console.

Help?

Soundcraft Ghost console /power supply noise

Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone had trouble with excessive noise from their Ghost Power Supply ? Mine is 5 years old now and it's started making strange sounds ...a bit like wind whistling through an alley ..but far away umm? ... It's quite disturbing when you live on the moors :?

:( DAvid with LoVE.

Fully automated consoles?

It seems fully automated consoles are in short numbers. I'm just poking around thinking of the best studio solution for my needs. I've never been a huge fan of Protools, mostly because the information is very vague. From what I've read you need the HD cards, HD192's (only 16 channels a peice) A/D converters and a control surface.

Take 2: Neotek Console

Well I have the console at my home/studio and am evaluating it. It is a 16 channel 4 bus not a 24 or 26 channel. But that is ok since I really don't need that many. Does anyone have a clue as to what the going price for this board is? It is a series III. Extremely clean but I will need to do some work on replacing switches here and there and recapping it.
