I've been using logic for mixing for a while now, and I just can't handle not having physical faders anymore. Can anybody recommend a mixer/controller that works well with Logic?

I just noticed that Tascam will be rolling out their new controller, ( the US2400 ) and I'd like to get a few responses from some of you who may own the FW1884 controller. I know the 1884 is a audio/midi/controller interface & the 2400 is just a controller. But as far as a controller, how well does it do with your favorate S/W? Also just how dependable is Firewire?

I'm curious: what kind of effective velocity range do people get out of their keyboards?

Hi, I am looking for a keyboard controller to use with my VSTi's at the moment I am using a keytar with 2 octaves and keys as thick as my fingers. I am looking for something with at least 4 octaves.

i was looking at getting a Radikal sac2.2 controller for my nuendo system.. i found one for $1500... but is just a controller nothing more.. i got offered a used D8B for $2100.. with version 5.1... to me thats the betetr buy not to mention it can still be a controller for nuendo 2.1 but it gives me a chance to expand a little more..

what do you think? :confused:

being an intense user of the 02R V2, I would like to know from the new users of the 02R 96k/DM2000 if the automix pages have been improved with functions like:
-safe/protect automix and scenes;(provided at the 01V);
- page up/down;
- next/back

I want to upgrade my Controller. I'm looking at the Mackie Universal, JL Cooper, I have even checked out the Tascam FW-1884. The Tascam looks very cool, but I heard it's had some issues with Cubase SX 2.0. I don't really need the midi/audio interface of the 1884 either. Unless someone said it would be worth it to get rid of my current audio/midi interface and go entirely with the 1884.

I am currently using a mac with Pro Tools LE 5.1. I have become increasingly annoyed with mixing via the mouse. I was looking at the Tascam 428 controller and it seems to be a pretty decent board (24bit with 8 channels and multiple banks). I was wondering if anyone has any experience with controllers and could provide me with a some helpful suggestions.
