I've been on this forum a long time finally about to finish new album 7 of 10 songs recorded here is latest one that's in a listenable state.

Any suggestions welcome mix definitely needs work. I've learned a lot from this forum over the years. (thanks Donnie)

For this I used one mic an AT4047 for all tracks into a Apogee Duet. Daw is Logic.

I was asked to do a cover of this song; a different singer will be singing the final. This is the instrumental version, and I am wanting to solicit your advice. There are a lot of textures in here I'm not used to using, so I am a bit nervous. This isn't a paying gig, but it is a very special one, so I want to get it right.

mixed this song we wrote .and wanted your opinions on the mix balance.
After listening just now I feel the drums need a touch more level for this style.
and kick needs some attack .and probably short reflection to poke the organ riff out more.

And then verb over the whole lot .

I'm kind of new to mixing and mastering. Here is the mix I did. I'm the vocalist/producer/recording engineer/mixer.
