I have some clients that recorded some stuff in Pro Tools LE and I want to work with it in Cubase SX3. I'm trying to find the *best* way to approach this.

EMU 1820M Sound Card
Windows XP
1.2 Athlon
1G RAM

Fireface 800
Cubase SX3

My primary interest is acoustic music, my main instruments are dobro, Weissenborn guitar and acoustic guitar.

hi ive been using Cubase sx3 for a few weeks and no problems then ive just bought a proteus fx module hooked it up and everything seems fine but when i record with midi it plays fine while I'm recording but when i come to play it back all the notes jump to the bigging of the bar :( i dont know what the problem is can someone please help me so the notes won't automatically jump to the begging of

hi ive been having major problems with my computer and ive reinstalled everything and touch wood its working fine now:) biut for some reason when i try and input a wav sample or try and preview a vst effect i cant hear the sample or effect until ive double clicked on the item and installed it into my project page..i know its a simple problem but my heads still buzzing from getting the thing wor

Thought I'd give it a try here too. Can anyone give me any advice on setting Cubase sx3 to work well with an onyx 1220 (mackie). What is the ideal bus set up (VST connections)...etc..

Also any thoughts about this basic set-up? Anyone else using an onyx based small scale setup with Cubase sx3?

Just wondering if there are any members using an Onyx (1220, 1620, 1640) with Cubase SX3. and if so, how do you like it?

I recently purchased a 1220 and I'll be using it with Cubase SX3 and would really love to hear any pointers, tricks, tips or whatever as far as using the Onyx with Cubase! Setting up buses in particular... Help me get started any way you can. Thanks!

Does anyone know what's the new hype on the latest version of Cubase SX3? Yes, I'm still on version 1 and purposely held off because of the rapid release of these upgrades. Is version 4 just around the corner?
