Problems with Cubase 5 & Alesis Multimix 8 USB

I cannon get Cubase 5 to recognize my Alesis Multimix 8 USB. (Please note that it is not the USB 2.0 model.)

I have tried visiting the Alesis website to download ASIO drivers, however there are none available for this board, as it is a plug n play device. The board included a copy of Cubase 4 le, so I am assuming that it SHOULD be compatible with Cubase 5.

When recording Cubase records both instrumental and vocals

Forums

Basically every time I attempt to record on Cubase both my beat and my vocals record on one track, so basically as I record Cubase record both my vocals and instrumental at the same time which leaves me with a instrumental as one track, and vocals and instrumental as anouther track, something is wrong here the vocals should be recoreded on their own seprate from the instrumental.

Cubase - Exporting Selected Tracks

Hi,

I have an issue with Cubase SX3.

1) I imported 10 MP3 files into a project, each one sitting on a different track.

2) I trimmed off the first 5 seconds of each track using the split tool.

3) I selected all tracks.

4) I went to File - Export - Selected Tracks

6) I choose "copy" when the pop-up asked for "copy" or "reference"

Help with MOTU 828 MKII, 8pre, and Cubase SX3

I recently purchased a MOTU 8pre to expand the number of microphone preamps on my 828 MKII so my band can record a demo with a full drumset. I'm running Cubase SX3, and I can't figure out how to set it up so that I have 10 different inputs (8 from the 8pre, plus the 2 on the MKII) recording at once in Cubase.
