Please advise how to go about setting up the MICing for my Digi 002. I record vocals (speaches/ discourses) in a spiritual orginisation. I am trying to get the best recording setup for ONE specific speaker.

Please comment on Sony PCM-D1 vs Digi 002 I'm not a pro :( . So any in-depth tech explanation, links will greatly help.

I record class room lectures with live audience (not a sound proof room). Usually I have only one speaker. I need to get the best quality recording in every aspect.

Hi friends. Quick question with an issue thats DRIVING ME NUTS. Im using a pod xt guitar processor hooked up into the inputs of the digi002 and all the sudden now when i open an audio track and enable record there is a delay from guitar to the computer. In other words, when i play the guitar, you dont hear it come through the system until a brief moment after. Its not even a second.

I'm really considering investing heavily into preamps.

These things look awesome. Has anyone ever used one?

I am using cakewalk home studio 2002 to record my guitar through a microphone that is plugged directly into the sound card in back of my pc and there is some sort of problem because when I play the track back the pitch and tempo of the guitar is distorted. I recorded a short 50 second track and made it into an mp3 file so you can hear what I am talking about.

I'm running a PC with dedicated audio drive, XP with sp2, digi002R, PTLE 6.9.

I cannot afford to get Pro Tools HD, I need at least 24 analog out in order to mix outside the box on analog mixer and using outboard gear

so my question is, is MOTU HD as good or nearly as good as PTHD? or at least is it way better thatn using a Digi002?

looking for something to get 8 more inputs ADAT for the digi 002R ive been looking at the MOTU 8 pre thats what a couple guys ive talked to told me to get but i dont know about droppin 600 if i dont have to any advice?

Wow here goes. I have a 002, it was taken to a recording gig, it was being used with another pals macbook. My pal couldn't get the my 002 to mount, he kept getting an error that the digi 002 could not be detected.
