ok the entry level mac pro is $1999 at macmall.com and the imac 24" is about the same price. Which should i go with? The advantage of the imac is that the screen is already there. The advantage of the mac pro is that it is completely upgradeble. Are there upgrades for the iMac?

I just need honest opinions of what you would do in this situation.

Hey guys i have digi002 and i want more inputs you know to record more musicians at the same time. digi002 gives out only 4 pres so iw as wondering if i can buy Mackie ONYX 800R a suitable mic preamp amp in my budget...the thing that i wanna know and understand it says Toslink ADAT Light pipe output..wht does exactly it means.

What's a good, INEXPENSIVE, multi pre to fill in those last 4 channels on the 002? Thanks.

We've been using a sta 2000 ADA soundcard and Adobe Audition software.This has work very well,but we are changing to Pro Tools.
Do we need to still use the sta 2000 or will the digi002 do the same thing.

I was just wondering what the differences are between the Digidesign Digi 002 Firewire Music and the M-Audio ProjectMix I/O are? They both look virtually the same. Except the Digidesign product is double in price. Why is it so much more expensive? Is it just due to the brand name?
