Focusrite Saffire 10 i/o vs PreSonus Firestudio Tube vs any other

I found a Focusrite Saffire pro 10 on craigslist being sold as is. I got the guy to drop it down to 50 bones however there would be a 250 dollar charge to fix it from Thermal Relief. Should I buy this since in itself it is a steal? Or should I buck up and save for a PreSonus Firestudio Tube or even a Focusrite Liquid Saffire?

Bus Powered Inferfaces - Duet, Konnekt 24d, FireStudio Mobile

I'm shopping around for a bus powered 2-channel firewire audio interface for my MacBook Pro. I currently own a M-Audio Delta 1010 that I'm very happy with. I've read everything I could find about the following 3 interfaces which I believe to be in my price range and offer what I'm looking for.

PreSonus Firestudio Mobile problems

Well, I have a Firebox and had a small problem getting it to run as my default audio device in Vista 64. I have a dual boot PC with Vista 64 on one drive and XP 32 bit on the other. I record to Cubase SX3 on the XP drive, but figured I'd use the Firebox for sound on both channels, so I can use my monitors to listen to music, etc.

PreSonus Firestudio Mobile opinions

I have recorded a couple of CDs for fun at my house and am serious enough about it that I recently upgraded my pre to a UA LA610 because I got a really good deal on it used. I recorded this last CD on a PreSonus Firebox and it worked fine except that tracks were often interrupted because of hiccups while recording.

PreSonus Firestudio Project

Hey guys, I have setup my Reason 4.0 software and am looking for the right interface. I have read other forums and decided on the PreSonus FireStudio Project Recording Interface. However, there are two options, the Factory B-stock (399.99) and the Standard (499.99). Due to my budget I would prefer the 399.99. Could anyone tell me the difference between the two and which one is worth it?
