Norway will be the first country to start turning off FM radio. Over the course of 2017, the FM radio network will slowly be switched off, with listeners only able to listen to digital programmes instead.

The northern county of Nordland will cease to broadcast FM radio from tomorrow, with other regions following suit throughout the year.

I'm working on a project that requires recording audio from an FM broadcast. I'm not using the station's stream because the quality is too low (64bit).

Hi all! Visited recording.org during the JP22 saga. Fun times! And I've been here various other times to get info. Excellent site and the info has been very helpful! Just signed up today because I have a query and I can't seem to find an answer that had been specific to it.

and i have no idea what to do with it.
i have 0 recording experience, my buddies just gave me this mixer.
should i sell it and buy a smaller one to start out with? should i keep it and get the sh*t to record with?
I'm just asking because i dont even know where to start to record with this thing

Hi guys & gals...

I've been toiling a bit at the radio station for the last couple weeks limping along with our Classical station audio after our 20+ year old Orban audio processor puked one day.

I've been reading these forums for quite some time, but this is my first post. I hate for my first post to be one asking for help, but I'm stuck. I wasn't quite sure what forum to put this in, so please feel free to move it into one that might be more appropriate.

my friend has a esp ltd electric guitar,a very good guitar but the only problem is the lycensed floyd rose, it has emg hz two humbuckers.
the guitar i've selected ltd m1000fm has original floyd rose but it has two emg 81 humbuckers which i read that they sound better for the heavy metal kind of thing especially sound like slayer.
