Friends I have a collection of files that are in different formats like WMV, AVI, MPEG-1 and so on…..I want to convert them into DVD format so that I can use this one on DVD players. Please suggest me any good software that I can use.

I have had a lot of problems in the past with the functionality of my plugins and errors occuring. The effect was that whole sets of plugins would be "unloadable," in which I would have to uninstall, then RE-install the bundles. This leaves my "Plugin Information" window an absolute mess. Is there anyway that I clean it up a bit?

now I have a G5 2x2 Mac with a internal Pioneer 111 D Drive in. But this ist the third Burner. And now it makes also Problems. I've try'd a lot of CD / DVD Brands with the same result. Now I'M searching for a external perfect drive. Any tips witch one is the best for Audio and Video ?

When an artist wants to own his master, are they actual tapes or CDs? If so how do they get to that format from the CD? I know the distributors need a certain format to copy the CD but what format is that?

:? My Fostex Fd4 is taking atleast 18 hours to format my 73gb SCSI external harddrive. the manual says it will take a while, but I dont think it should take this long. I think something is wrong. the manual says that it will say COMPLETE!. My first attemp yeilded no COMPLETE!, even though I let it continue the process overnight.

I need to do a recording with the following format: A Law CCITT, 8.00 kHz, 8 bits, mono.

I'm working with Mac and Pro Tools HD 7.1.

I know that the limitations of the Pro Tools system will make me to record initially at 44.100Hz / 16 or 24 bit, but I need to convert the files to the format I've specified above.

Thanks again for all your help in picking out a $1k mic. I ended up doing a shootout between a Blueberry and a TLM 103, but the Blueberry won out for my purposes.
