Hello, first post here. Mini background- was a 24/7 writing/recording/playing person, started /w a portastudio one, spent a decade of of intermittent touring. saving when possible, learning much from being that annoying "talent" asking the producer/eng too much.

I've been running a hybrid setup for a while. My console handles 96 inputs for mixdown, but I only run 32 channels or less. I want to limit to 16 channels for a more recallable setup that stays in the sweet spot of the mix position (using channels 17-32 in the center).

Check this out, its the processing section of my hybrid rack just completed today ( well if it ever is) 35 years at it and I can honestly say I like it all and it works lol! I mean, I'm very satisfied with it which has only been said a few times over those years. The Bricasti's and the Eventide are something else. Incredible acoustic simulators. They glue everything in the most amazing way.

Another plug for hybrid!

Chris has been working on some older 2 mixes for me recently, and the differences are truly amazing.

I really do suggest that if you have digital stems or 2 mixes that you feel are "missing" something, that very "something" could be the analog summing that Chris has to offer, and you should definitely contact him to discuss your project. thumb

I had Chris run a 2 mix of an older track I had that I want to include on my solo album. The original sounded, well, for lack of a better term, "empty"... almost as if you could put your hand through "holes" in the sonics, as if there were dead spaces in the sound.
