Protools|HD 192i/o question.
Hello, I would like to know if anyone has a site or image of a wiring schematic for the DB25 connectors that the 192i/o uses? Also, I'm confused as to how many analog inputs the stock 192i/o has? I see two db25 connectors on the back but each have different voltages? does this mean that there are 16 possible XLR inputs without the added expansion card?

M-Audio Projectmix I/o and Pro Tools M-Powered
the m audio projectmix is a relatively new unit that i just found out about. i'm wondering if anyone has any experience on it and could compare it to the digi 002. my guess is that with half the price tag, the onboard pre's and converters can't be nearly as good as those in the digi002. but i'd be curious to know.
Need help with i/o setups
I'm running pro-tools m-powered with a delta 1010, the other day when i was opening up a session it told me that my i/o setups have changed so i went to the setups window, and it now only lets my use the first 2 ins and outs on the delta, any clues?

ADAT i/o to PC via Firewire or USB
I purchased an Alesis ADAT machine a couple years ago and now would like to transfer my files to my laptop either by firewire or usb. Unfortunately everything I find is over $200 as it has a bunch of inputs (1/4 and xlr) which I dont really need.

I/O's Analog or digital that support lower sample/bit rates?
Its really hard to find a professional I/O these days that supports lower sample and bit rates such as a 8kHz and 8bit, is it pretty much a given that I must have this support at least for playback because I tend to work with low quality audio in my field of work.
I/O options.
I have an FW-1884 and from all of the horrible reviews about how bad it sounds. I'm now starting to wonder if it is even worth it to upgrade to nicer mic preamps.
Here is my question. .if I were to run the 4 API pres and 4 AMEK pres that I'm building through a decent converter and into the ADAT in. will the FW1884's converters affect the high quality incoming signal?

Recommended digital I/O for use with an RME ADI-2
I'm thinking about buying a RME ADI-2 AD/DA converter and I'm just wondering what PCI card would best be suited for use with it.
Comparative review on multi I/O sound cards?
Hi! I was wondering if there's a comparative review out there somewhere on multi I/O soundcards anywhere. i'm looking at getting a new one sometime soon, and there are various brands to choose from - Echo, Emu 1820, RME Multiface, etc. But there are budget considerations as well.
