So far I have tried the Image Line Maximus demo, and that seemed to work great, and I was able to get some of my songs sounding a lot better with it.

I havn't been on the forum for a while but I now have a set of tracks I want to master to CD. I was thinking about getting either Wavelabs Essential 7 or Sony CD Architect 5.2 to 'Red Book' master.

Any thoughts on either or other suggestions?

I'm a new member from Cyprus. I own a recording studio and working with Mixing & Mastering Studios in Greece that helps me with the process.

I'd like to ask you that:

Who hard is for one person (in that case me) to record, mixing, and mastering the projects? Is it better to continue collaborate with other people and only have the recordings ?

It has been my goal for some time to be a full time mixing and mastering engineer. First, is this possible? Second, how do I get there? Besides the obvious job of getting really great at mixing and mastering, what should I do to get my name out there? How do I build business? I would love to hear how other proffessional mixing and mastering engineers have gotten there.

What are people using for mastering compression? Thanks.

I'm a beginner in mixering and mastering and I've composed and recorded 5 or 6 songs, but I would like to increase the volume level of the songs because it's not loud enough.
I've compared with some song mixed and mastered professionaly and there is a difference about the volume level... I don't know if I need a plugin for my software or anything else...
