So I am not at all ready to have my work mastered yet so please no PM's with offers. But I am wondering how much is a standard price to pay for having 5-7 songs mastered? I'm not sure if it would be best for me to find someone local to do it or just to find an online mastering service. Any info would be great.

Thought you guys might be interested in reading this. We've had a little disagreement based on between how we advertise to prospective clients, and how we advise genuine clients who we have an interest in ensuring their product is the best it can be.

The former are faced with a multitude of misleading advertising, and the latter deserve honesty.

Hi guys. I need some mastering tips. First, how loud should a song be after it's mastered and stuff... Second, should I put the same master settings on each song on the album... And last, is there any other tips or tweaks any of y'all have to do to a song after it's mastered, or do you just leave it?

So I'm gonna be recording rap vocals within these next few months, and because it's not cheap to get beats and get myself some recording equipment, I decided I might as well put out a 5-7 song EP on CDBaby to make some return on it and get my music out there.

I guess this is something I should have asked long ago.

Hello people, I'm new here and dutch (so not so good in english). I've a question about recording vocals. When I record the vocals, it sound very dull. I want to hear the vocals clear and bright, so that it's the top layer of the song, and not that I can barely hear it.
