Peavey or Alto Mixer?
First of all, I am new to recording and just doing it for personal use. I have been plugging my guitarmic into the single input of my soundcard and recording single tracks. I do not plan to do anything serious but just experimenting.

Mixer to Soundcard, getting a lot of feedback and mono sounds
Hi All
I would appreciate if anyone can help me with a problem I have with connecting my mixer to my soundcard.
I been reading a lot of articles of how u can get signals from either the main output or sub output of the mixer to the soundcard. I do get signals but also a lot of feedback and mono sounds.
digital mixers?
Im looking for a digital mixer that has up to 4 coax,S/PDIF stereo inputs, and a coax digital output--I now roland has made a m-1000 that is out of production, the ones I do find, the retailer wants to really put the screws to me.
My question is----is there another mixer out there that does the same thing? :?

Need Help with my Tapco 6306 mixer
I have a tapco 6306 and the power stopped working, and I don't know if it is the mixer or the transformer that is the problem. The transformer is a 9V with 1.5 Amps and that is very rare so i can't even find it at radio shack. Any suggestions on trying to figure out the problem.
Thanks

$900ish - outboard pres or new mixer
Alright, I currently have among other things, an Alesis Studio 32 and A Eureka pre with B/B's. The Alesis is perfect, except I'm not happy with the pre's. But for routing, ins/out etc. perfect. The Eureka sounds good to me, especially as a DI.

"Quest" mixer. what IS this thing?
Well, I've done it again.
I've managed to find another piece of used gear that I've never heard of, and a google search comes up empty.
Brand name: "QUEST".
High build quality.
It's a rackmount mixer of sorts. Lots of small, tightly spaced knobs and toggle switches. .which look as if it mixes down to 2 channels.
