hello

you help will be appreciated .

Master outs on my mixer have a higher gain rating than...
I have a denon dj mixer with balanced XLR output jacks operating at a +4dB gain level. I have these jacks connected to the balanced XLR inputs on my Edirol UA101 usb audio interface which according to the manual are rated at -10dB. I have tried recording a mix from my mixer into Sonar through the UA101 and it was successful and sounds great.

ITB to Summing Mixer to Where? I dont get it
Hey guys, I'm thinking about analog summing. The only thing I don't get is where do you send the audio after the summing mixer? Does it need to go to a DAT or tape or something, or would it go back into you daw as just the Stereo 2 track?
Help me out, i've been wondering about this for a while.
Thanks

Mixer than won't mess with my signal
Hi all
I'm looking for a mixer so I can monitor the outputs of the preamps I'm considering. I'm thinking about John Hardy at the moment, but I want a mixer that will get me as close as possible to plugging the pre directly into the AD converter, but will also allow me to hear what's going on.

Mixer for Drums - 12 XLR condenser mics & band
New here and also new at this.
I'm trying to find a mixer for drums and hopefully band as well.
Drums have 12 XLR condenser mics, all needing phantom power.
I'm thinking of 16-24 channels, but like I said, I'm brand new to mixing and I would appreciate any and all help.
It would be nice to be able to record as well, but a mix is the main thing here.
Good mixer for tracking. ?
I'm looking at picking up one or two small mixers to use on the occasions where I'd like to do sub-mixes while tracking to save on channels. Typically, this would be for drums and multiple microphone situations on guitar/bass amps and would be using a single stereo (or mono) output into my DAW.
