Modification to make Blue Yeti fit a Shock Mount?
Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum so my apologies if I am posting in the wrong forum or the like.
I recently upgraded from a headset to a Blue Yeti mic for recording podcasts. I picked up a boom stand, pop guard, and shock mount, but saw that the Yeti did not have a base compatible with the shock mount.
Trident S40 by John Oram-mods.
I recently had the pleasure of working on a Trident S40 by John Oram. First let me say the unit was well constructed for repair and modifications. It came apart in about 1 minute, and the circuit board was clearly labeled and easy to work on. The unit had a grounding issue with the XLR input, but otherwise fully functional.

Big Muff π Mod Thread (With Clips)
I am posting this for those of us here who are fans of fuzz, Muff, and/or doom metal guitar sounds. I myself love fuzz, but I've always found the new Big Muffs to be a bit weak sounding to say the least. I have grown fond of modifying them back closer to a more 'vintage' Big Muff style sound, while putting my own spin on it.

Guitar circuit mods: Do these cancel each other out?
I have a volume mod to each of my volumes which consists of a 330k resistor and 1000pF cap between the first and second lug. I want to put a capacitor across the pickup to roll off some highs. The capacitor will go from the input lug where the hot lead is to the exact point where the pickup cold lead/ground is.
Modifying a console's frame?
I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience in modifying a console's chassis/frame. Let's say swapping the black surround on a console for wood, or rewrapping it at least.
For example:

New To Pedal Modifying
So I am learning the fundamentals of electrical properties and how to manipulate audio signal slowly, but I need some reinforcement especially on some of the finer details. I've got some mods in mind and I am just hoping to clear up some things prior to. The mod is to my trusty SD-1 pedal.

Yet another Apex 460 mod forum...
Hey, I finally decided to do some mods to my Apex 460, and after looking through the hundreds of forums with the Apex 460 mods, I still have some questions. I'm pretty new to mic modding, so some questions might be on the stupider side, but please help if you can.

Eliminating Hum through cable modding?
Hi there
I've come by one of the old dbx 160x units. However, it gives an unacceptable buzz when I crank the output gain above 0. It loses the buzz when I bypass the unit or turn it back down. Could this be a grounding issue?
Other important stuff is:

Black Lion mods
JUst wondering if anyone has ever gotten the analog modification for thier MOTU 2408. I have the mkIII and this is now the 2nd one in less than a year in which the volume pot has started to go bad. With the volume all the way down, my left monitor is just playing along like everything is normal.
