I need to mic up a drum kit to my MOTU 828mkII, but it only comes with 2 preamps.

Is there any rack mount preamps or some cheap alternative to give me the extra 5-8 preamps for mice?

I need to go with the cheapest, but best sounding piece of gear out there. So if it's only $100, that's great, but if it's more like $500, I can still afford it...

MOTU 828mkii and Mbox on the same computer?

I've got a MOTU/Sonar setup on my PC. Is it possible to install an Mbox/PTLE setup on my computer at the same time? Will these systems coexist or will they fight like cats and dogs?

I need to add Pro Tools capabilities, but when possible I still want to use Sonar. If anyone has input on this kind of a setup, please enlighten me!

MOTU 828mkII Problem (A Whole Lot Of Whistling)

I recently reloaded my computer and started over from scratch (spyware issues). Before the reload my MOTU was working, but I always has a problem with it whistling. Although the whistling was much less frequent, maybe once every 2 or 3 minutes. I had XP as my operating system with no service packs.
