Hai Pleasr help me. I find a hitch sound when i take digital input with my MOTU 828 soundcard. the noise is only there in one channel. Can u please help e to locate the probs?

I need to mic up a drum kit to my MOTU 828mkII, but it only comes with 2 preamps.

Is there any rack mount preamps or some cheap alternative to give me the extra 5-8 preamps for mice?

I need to go with the cheapest, but best sounding piece of gear out there. So if it's only $100, that's great, but if it's more like $500, I can still afford it...

Hi. I am having trouble with syncing 2 828MKII through Firewire. I am using a PC with XP SP2. Hardware wise I have 2.8GHz Intel P4, 2Gb of RAM and am using Cubase SX. The 828's go out of sync as soon as I open the Cubase program or even the MOTU FW Audio Console. Has anyone had this problem?

I've got a MOTU/Sonar setup on my PC. Is it possible to install an Mbox/PTLE setup on my computer at the same time? Will these systems coexist or will they fight like cats and dogs?

I need to add Pro Tools capabilities, but when possible I still want to use Sonar. If anyone has input on this kind of a setup, please enlighten me!

Hey guys... first post of many on here for me i presume...

I recently reloaded my computer and started over from scratch (spyware issues). Before the reload my MOTU was working, but I always has a problem with it whistling. Although the whistling was much less frequent, maybe once every 2 or 3 minutes. I had XP as my operating system with no service packs.

I have a PC with ASUS P4P800 Deluxe mainboard and VIA OHCI-conformable IEEE 1394-hostcontroller. WinXP with ServicePack2.

I tried to install the driverpackage as shown in the manual. But neither the drivers from CD (V 3.1) nor the latest drivers from the MOTU website works!

So I was trying to help my friend out with this issue the other day and I'm stuck.

Here's the problem/setup:

1 mono audio track set to audio 1
1 stereo bus
- left set to 1 out 1-2
- right set to 2 out 1-2
