recording bass to electronic music
Hi guys,
Hi guys,
anyone know how i can take the vocals out of a song so i just have the music
How would i go about making a beat in reason and trying to match it up to outside music? From what I know you cant bring audio files into reason to just have play and play along to using redrum etc. I have a session in pro tools le that i want to add a beat to but want to be able to make something to it while hearing it. Thanks
Browsing the iTunes video store, I noticed that the audio in the music videos always leaves about 7 dB of unused headroom compared to the audio-only counterpart. So I extracted the audio from a greenday video, normalized it to fill in the 7 unused dB, and compared it to the audio-only version.
greetings
some of you may have have seen my posts regarding this on other forums... i have been looking for an optimal solution for quite some time and got some (i think) very useful input, but think theres a better solution out there.

Hi guys and gals,
I have a music track and want to record vox to it so that immediately after recording, when the Playback button is pressed, there's only a vocal track played. What I want to hear in that playback is vocal track already mixed with music. I have WaveLab installed, but not sure if it can provide us with such a thing.
The thread on recording solo piano got me thinking about the challenges of spot Micing piano on chamber music concerts. I record a lot of chamber music with piano. Generally, there are two to seven string players or wind musicians situated in front of the piano. And they all like to snuggle up to the piano and play right in front of it.
trying to decide which to go with for use with a minidisc recorder - the Sony electret condensor mic or ECM-MS907. The first is much smaller but not digital, which is appealing, but I'm wondering if it would record well. Thanks!
Hello! I am a musician and I am looking for a pair of really good headphones to listen music with the most quality posible, I like to listen all the details, all the instruments, all voices clearly, all the efects, how where the digitations done, etc...
My budget is around $200. I was told the Sony mdr 7509 are good in that price. What do you recommend me?
