DVD - CDR recorder used for music mastering?
Are these new DVD recorders that record CDRS suitable for CD mastering? Many will have 4X as the slowest speed and recently I found one with 8X as the slowest speed. THANKS for any help on this.

I'm currently using Cubase VST 5.1 (Mac) in conjunction with an Akai S5000 & a Technics WSA-1 synth, along with my guitar rig & recording drums from a TD12 midi kit. My Mac (G3 ibook) won't go much further due to ramm resitictions.

Music Video DVD Levels

Music Creation Program?
What music creation programs does everyone prefer? (Fruity Loops, Guitar Pro, etc. etc.) I currently use guitar pro, and it is alright i suppose. I want something with better instrument emulation though.
