Tips for newbie ...M-Audio Fast Track mkii plus Fishman guitar pickup

So I recently purchased the M Audio Fast Track (mkii) to do some home recordings of my acoustic guitar. I'm plugging directly in to the interface and using Garageband to record. I've done a few test recordings which sound semi-decent but everything is just a little thin and chords don't sustain very well. CAn I adjust something through the guitar pick up to get ideal sound?

Newbie video recording

Hi, i just wondered if it was possible to use an iphone 4s to video a bands live performance using a main out from the desk for the audio? (i have bought a 1/8" stereo jack to 2 1/4" mono) but not sure if this would work by connecting to the iphone's headphone input. (like i said, a complete newbie ;-) )

at the moment this is the only means i have of video recording i have,

Newbie with Starting Gear Questions.

Hi,

Newbie hear and completely new to the home recording world however after never being happy with the rushed time frame and arsehole producers of studio recording I have decided to become somewhat a hermit and study the art of recording.

I am a singer songwriter / multi instrumentalist of an indie / psychedelic / pop / grunge ilk . . however I am not technically minded.

Newbie with some speaker questions

I recently purchased an inexpensive little set up to practice and do some recording in a small room in my home. I have a Pyle Pro PTA1000 dual channel stereo amp. Each channel runs to one Pyle Pro padh1269 600WATT speaker in a standard single left and right configuration. The speakers are hooked up to the amp via a big gauge Speakon cable.
